Spectators: 6780 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Glew Edward started the match with the kick off. Amren Breen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute, Sugyn Jones sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and UWA Llangollen's Alun Cartledge didn't even have to move. In the 10th minute Glew Edward shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alun Cartledge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alun Cartledge was a little too slow when Amren Breen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 26 played minutes Treorchy got a freekick which was hit by Deiniol Waterman. In the 27th minute of the match Peissawg Lonsdale shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dinadan Kemble showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Selyv Dell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dinadan Kemble took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bowen Gook, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selyv Dell in the 38th minute of play forced Treorchy's goalkeeper Dinadan Kemble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Bowen Gook shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinadan Kemble saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bowen Gook in the 43rd minute of play forced Treorchy's goalkeeper Dinadan Kemble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Selyv Dell in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dinadan Kemble saved Treorchy from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Selyv Dell was the one to do the kick off. Sior Cornell charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sior Cornell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Treorchy getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sior Cornell hit a great ball. Erbin Victualer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Dinadan Kemble tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Selyv Dell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Llangollen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Selyv Dell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, UWA Llangollen's goal looked a bit too open when Amren Breen came free, but Alun Cartledge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arawn Peruker fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Llangollen's protests and gave Arawn Peruker a yellow card for diving instead. Arawn Peruker hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Bowen Gook sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deiniol Waterman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alun Cartledge having to interfere. After 73 played minutes UWA Llangollen got a freekick which was hit by Erbin Victualer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glew Edward in the 83rd minute of play forced UWA Llangollen's goalkeeper Alun Cartledge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alun Cartledge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glew Edward in the 91st minute of play. Alun Cartledge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amren Breen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th match minute, UWA Llangollen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peissawg Lonsdale to maneuver through the defense. Sugyn Jones missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 98 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Alun Cartledge right hand side. Treorchy were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of UWA Llangollen for a fine match.
