Spectators: 6783 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bleddyn Teamster got the match started through his kick off. Amynedd Haran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Llwydeu Colville in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olwydd Farley in the 5th minute of play forced UWA Swansea's goalkeeper Amynedd Haran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berth Flannagan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Garnock Gilboy 6 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ely! 19 minutes into the match, Ely's goal looked a bit too open when Bleddyn Teamster came free, but Garnock Gilboy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olwydd Farley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute, Bleddyn Teamster fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Garnock Gilboy, passed just outside the right post. UWA Swansea's Amynedd Haran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Llwydeu Colville in the 34th minute of play. Olwydd Farley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Amynedd Haran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olwydd Farley took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amynedd Haran. Amynedd Haran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Llwydeu Colville stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Bleddyn Teamster fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Swansea's protests and gave Bleddyn Teamster a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute of the match Ermid Forsyth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amynedd Haran skillfully saved the ball. Amynedd Haran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olwydd Farley in the 62nd minute. Llwydeu Colville received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Amynedd Haran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ely's Garnock Gilboy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bleddyn Teamster in the 82nd minute of play. Bleddyn Teamster might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Garnock Gilboy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bleddyn Teamster ran back to his position shaking his head. Greidyawl Keely hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. UWA Swansea succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ely had controlled the match.
