Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carnedyr Lamph started the match with the kick off. Anyon Donovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cadarn Burt struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Cadman Buchan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baglan. Cadarn Burt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Cadman Buchan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Baglan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwallawg Bray to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Caerleon booed when Baglan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meurig Fairbanks didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Baglan's zone, Anyon Donovan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mael Law came out of the goal and Anyon Donovan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Anyon Donovan came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Caerleon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anyon Donovan couldn't finish the play. Cadarn Burt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cadman Buchan having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Baglan's zone, March Donoghue stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mael Law came out of the goal and March Donoghue tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 43 played minutes Baglan got a freekick which was hit by Menw Fielding. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and March Donoghue made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Baglan's zone, Tarrant Brothers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mael Law came out of the goal and Tarrant Brothers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th match minute, Caerleon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarrant Brothers to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 54 minutes, Carnedyr Lamph managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baglan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carnedyr Lamph was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baglan's Mael Law played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by March Donoghue in the 58th minute of play. If Carnedyr Lamph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brathach Helwick took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cadman Buchan. Caerleon's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 69thth minute of the game March Donoghue who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baglan's Mael Law was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Baglan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwallawg Bray to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute Addolgar Accomptant managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Evan Greenham hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Carnedyr Lamph scored 1-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cadman Buchan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If March Donoghue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. March Donoghue recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 played minutes Baglan got a freekick which was hit by Gwallawg Bray. Brathach Helwick charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brathach Helwick the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Brathach Helwick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Caerleon players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
