In the 7th minute, Brathach Helwick sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and UWA Penarth's Celyn Edelston didn't even have to move. If Cadarn Burt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the game, Baglan's Evan Greenham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celyn Edelston made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Sion Griffith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sel Duff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mael Law having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, UWA Penarth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sulyen Giggs to maneuver through the defense. Brathach Helwick took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Celyn Edelston. UWA Penarth's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mael Law made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Sion Griffith sent off a good shot on target. Cadarn Burt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sulyen Giggs during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Baglan booed when UWA Penarth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sulyen Giggs didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sel Duff in the 38th minute of play forced Baglan's goalkeeper Mael Law to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Sel Duff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 44 played minutes UWA Penarth got a freekick which was hit by Iustig Herbert. Sion Griffith took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mael Law. Mael Law dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carnedyr Lamph was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, UWA Penarth's goal looked a bit too open when Cadarn Burt came free, but Celyn Edelston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carnedyr Lamph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Menw Fielding during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Iustig Herbert managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Penarth's supporters rose to their feet, but Iustig Herbert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mael Law breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sel Duff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Sion Griffith cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Mael Law was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the match, UWA Penarth's goalkeeper Celyn Edelston had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cadarn Burt. Mael Law didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when UWA Penarth's Sel Duff shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. UWA Penarth had won after a very even match.
