Spectators: 6769 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 0) After recieving a nice pass, Llangollen Utd's Iddawg Hayden tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Powell Collis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 played minutes Llangollen Utd got a freekick which was hit by Teithi Connell. Garnock Mcguire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Garnock Mcguire sped through Llangollen Utd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gwres Drummond. In the 24th match minute, Wrexham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caradawg Finneran to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Llangollen Utd's Gwallter Fergus got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 41 minutes, Lot Feltner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Llangollen Utd and the Wrexham players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Kane Dunkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Lot Feltner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kane Dunkin came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Wrexham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kane Dunkin couldn't finish the play. Garnock Mcguire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Llangollen Utd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wrexham were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gwallter Fergus to make the kick off. Wrexham's Kane Dunkin got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ol Griffin during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ol Griffin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Llangollen Utd's Ithel Noel seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ithel Noel the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Llangollen Utd protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ithel Noel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Llangollen Utd:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wrexham:s goal. Kane Dunkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwres Drummond having to interfere. Garnock Mcguire struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Gwres Drummond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wrexham. After having played for 79 minutes, Garnock Mcguire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wrexham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garnock Mcguire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Powell Collis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Llangollen Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Powell Collis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trevelyan Cumming breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wrexham's Trevelyan Cumming played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Powell Collis in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Elphin Compton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kane Dunkin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gwres Drummond read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Gwres Drummond made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Garnock Mcguire sent off a good shot on target. Wrexham's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
