With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cadfan Cumberland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, UWA Lampeter's goal looked a bit too open when Ardwyad Cundall came free, but Neued Kelly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Evrei Douglas made a precise shot to the right of Cadfan Cumberland. UWA Bridgend's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. UWA Bridgend's Dewey Avery suffered a sore thigh after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Avagdu Caine charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Avagdu Caine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, UWA Lampeter's Avagdu Caine got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 46th minute, one of UWA Bridgend:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UWA Bridgend. When the match had been going on for 47 minutes, UWA Lampeter's Brice Blair got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cadfan Cumberland.

In the 72nd minute Evrei Douglas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cadfan Cumberland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evrei Douglas in the 79th minute of play forced UWA Bridgend's goalkeeper Cadfan Cumberland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keith Kinealy might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cadfan Cumberland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Ardwyad Cundall managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Bridgend's supporters rose to their feet, but Ardwyad Cundall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Neued Kelly breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind UWA Bridgend's goalkeeper Cadfan Cumberland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of UWA Bridgend:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of UWA Lampeter:s goal. The referee gave UWA Lampeter a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Brice Blair, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of UWA Bridgend's Cadfan Cumberland. 3-0. After 99 played minutes UWA Lampeter got a freekick which was hit by Rhun Luke. UWA Bridgend's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ermid Dutton in the 103rd minute. Ermid Dutton made a great header on UWA Bridgend's corner, it was just that UWA Lampeter's Neued Kelly managed to reach the ball for a save. UWA Lampeter's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
