The audience thought a goal was coming when Brastias Berry got free with Padrig Convery in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mil Foody took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Padrig Convery. Ely's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kenn Copp kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Brastias Berry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Padrig Convery made a huge save. Eryi Simmons's late challenge caught a Llangollen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eryi Simmons helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ely's Eryi Simmons got a free kick in the 15th minute. Powell Bussey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Maelwys Gee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maelwys Gee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Powell Bussey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Drwst Keary to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ely's goal looked a bit too open when Drwst Keary came free, but Padrig Convery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 minutes of play, Llangollen FC's Drwst Keary made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Padrig Convery was left in no man's land by his defense there! Padrig Convery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brastias Berry, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Perceval Fleming during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Ely was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brice Crosby to maneuver through the defense. If Drwst Keary had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Llangollen FC's Barri Ferriter got a free kick in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ely's zone, Drwst Keary stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Padrig Convery came out of the goal and Drwst Keary tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Drwst Keary struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Padrig Convery didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llangollen FC. 79 minutes into the game, Hydd Hodgson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ely's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Llangollen FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ely's Hydd Hodgson got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Eryi Simmons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Brastias Berry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Padrig Convery was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Powell Bussey came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Ely fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Powell Bussey couldn't finish the play. When Llangollen FC's Brastias Berry in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ely's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Drwst Keary sped through Ely's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Padrig Convery. Llangollen FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ely for a fine match.
