The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peissawg Lovat was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Peissawg Lovat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caradawg Ackroyd was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Cardigan's Garwyli Felt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gormant Hunt in the 75th minute of play. Peissawg Lovat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caradawg Ackroyd having to interfere. Merlin Douglas hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Cardigan's Clyde Correll got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peissawg Lovat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Caradawg Ackroyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to UWA Aberystwyth getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Aglovale Travers hit a great ball. Caradawg Ackroyd was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Peissawg Lovat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Peissawg Lovat really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Garwyli Felt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gormant Hunt in the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cardigan walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
