Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 0) Llanberis's Trefor Ackerman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Trefor Ackerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Parry Hawley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Llanberis's Anwell Godwin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Parry Hawley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Llanberis booed when Knighton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rhett Atkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anwell Godwin in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Parry Hawley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 0-1 became the score in the 12th minute when Anwell Godwin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Trefor Ackerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Parry Hawley having to interfere. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Knighton's goalkeeper Parry Hawley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anwell Godwin in the 24th minute of play forced Knighton's goalkeeper Parry Hawley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceithin Huckaby kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Gwyddawg Booth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Padrig Bluestocking having to interfere. Gwyddawg Booth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trefor Ackerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Parry Hawley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bedyw Ferriter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gwyddawg Booth was the one to do the kick off. Trefor Ackerman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Parry Hawley having to make a save. Padrig Bluestocking showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naw Andrew, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute, Trefor Ackerman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anwell Godwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Parry Hawley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Knighton's zone, Trefor Ackerman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Parry Hawley came out of the goal and Trefor Ackerman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd match minute, Knighton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rhett Atkin to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Knighton's goal looked a bit too open when Trefor Ackerman came free, but Parry Hawley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Llanberis's Alwyn Finan got a free kick in the 77th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Llanberis's Trefor Ackerman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Parry Hawley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwyddawg Booth in the 86th minute of play forced Llanberis's goalkeeper Padrig Bluestocking to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rhett Atkin hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Brad Greene sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Knighton's Parry Hawley didn't even have to move. Padrig Bluestocking made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwyddawg Booth in the 98th minute of play. The Knighton supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Llanberis's performance. The match ended with a win for Llanberis.
