Instead of passing the ball, Powell Manciple made a really hard long shot towards goal. UWA Aberystwyth's Caradawg Ackroyd realized he got lucky when he saw the ball passing the outside of the left post. Gormant Hunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mael Burt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Penvro Emmett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Penvro Emmett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gormant Hunt, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The supporters of UWA Aberystwyth booed when Llandudno Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tristan Goldthorpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Powell Manciple walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. UWA Aberystwyth's Caradawg Ackroyd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amren Haydon in the 61st minute of play. Gormant Hunt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Penvro Emmett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Merlin Douglas took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Penvro Emmett. Penvro Emmett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Caradawg Ackroyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huw Leeche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Merlin Douglas hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Huw Leeche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Llandudno Utd booed when UWA Aberystwyth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merlin Douglas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Huw Leeche sped through UWA Aberystwyth's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Caradawg Ackroyd. Gormant Hunt was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 88 minutes into the game, Gormant Hunt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Penvro Emmett. Gormant Hunt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 93rdth minute of the game Amren Haydon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UWA Aberystwyth's Caradawg Ackroyd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched UWA Aberystwyth eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
