Presteigne's Irvin Gee got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gwevyl Kavanagh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gusg Fox in the 5th minute of play. Gwevyl Kavanagh came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Presteigne's Irvin Gee. But to his dismay, Irvin Gee quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kenyon Howe struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Llwyd Alden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llangollen Utd. 13 minutes into the match, Presteigne's goalkeeper Llwyd Alden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kenyon Howe. Gwevyl Kavanagh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Irvin Gee's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Kenyon Howe struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Llwyd Alden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llangollen Utd. The supporters of Llangollen Utd booed when Presteigne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenn Cowen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Irvin Gee's late challenge caught a Llangollen Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Irvin Gee helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Llangollen Utd booed when Presteigne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irvin Gee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenyon Howe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Llwyd Alden made a huge save. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Llangollen Utd's goalkeeper Gwevyl Kavanagh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gwevyl Kavanagh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irvin Gee in the 39th minute of the match. Kenyon Howe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwyd Alden having to interfere. Presteigne's Llwyd Alden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robat Herne in the 46th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Robat Herne made a precise shot to the right of Llwyd Alden. Presteigne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gusg Fox to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hafgan Jennings in the 52nd minute of play forced Presteigne's goalkeeper Llwyd Alden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gusg Fox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, Llangollen Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Gusg Fox came free, but Gwevyl Kavanagh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Gusg Fox got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Irvin Gee could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Gwevyl Kavanagh made a huge save. 66 minutes into the game, Sel Essig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Presteigne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Llangollen Utd the free kick. A collision led to Presteigne getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Sel Essig hit a great ball. Gwevyl Kavanagh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gusg Fox's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute Kenyon Howe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Llwyd Alden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Llangollen Utd booed when Presteigne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gusg Booth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Llangollen Utd's Robat Herne got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Presteigne players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Llangollen Utd from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
