The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute, Cai Burgess hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trefor Ackerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Gethin Gibbons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Anwell Godwin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gethin Gibbons was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Padrig Bluestocking made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andras Galligan in the 18th minute of play. Andras Galligan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Padrig Bluestocking having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andras Galligan in the 22nd minute of play forced Llanberis's goalkeeper Padrig Bluestocking to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, UWA Flint was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trefor Cochrane to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of UWA Flint booed when Llanberis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brad Greene didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Trefor Ackerman made the kick off in the second half. Andras Galligan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Padrig Bluestocking skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bedyw Ferriter's late challenge caught a UWA Flint's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bedyw Ferriter helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes Llanberis got a freekick which was hit by Bedyw Ferriter. Padrig Bluestocking made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andras Galligan in the 57th minute. Trefor Ackerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Llanberis's goalkeeper Padrig Bluestocking, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, UWA Flint's Powell Farrier got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Trefor Ackerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, UWA Flint's goal looked a bit too open when Trefor Ackerman came free, but Gethin Gibbons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Llanberis's Padrig Bluestocking played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anir Cowen in the 88th minute of play. Andras Galligan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Llanberis's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
