Spectators: 6788 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gwyddawg Booth started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Knighton booed when UWA Flint was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cai Burgess didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gethin Gibbons didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Knighton's Gwyddawg Booth shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, UWA Flint's Powell Farrier got a free kick in the 8th minute. Gwyddawg Booth received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gethin Gibbons came out and tried to block the shot, but Gwyddawg Booth slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Knighton's goal looked a bit too open when Llacheu Hall came free, but Parry Hawley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Anir Cowen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd match minute, UWA Flint was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cai Burgess to maneuver through the defense. Gethin Gibbons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwyddawg Booth in the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gwyddawg Booth in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gethin Gibbons prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to UWA Flint getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Cai Burgess hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Naw Andrew got free with Gethin Gibbons in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gwyddawg Booth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gethin Gibbons having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anir Cowen to make the kick off. Ceithin Huckaby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anir Cowen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anir Cowen in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Parry Hawley saved Knighton from getting behind. UWA Flint's Gethin Gibbons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naw Andrew in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Knighton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adwr Lacey to maneuver through the defense. Knighton's Parry Hawley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anir Cowen in the 65th minute of play. When Powell Farrier fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Flint's protests and gave Powell Farrier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, UWA Flint was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Powell Farrier to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 72 minutes, Gwyddawg Booth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knighton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwyddawg Booth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 73 played minutes UWA Flint got a freekick which was hit by Trefor Cochrane. 75 minutes into the game, one of UWA Flint:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Powell Farrier kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, UWA Flint's Clust Cole got a free kick in the 86th minute. Gethin Gibbons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adwr Lacey, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Gwyddawg Booth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Naw Andrew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Knighton players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
