Rhun Hill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cairn Hamlet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Odgar Bonds's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tringad Foote read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ysberin Erwin in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cairn Hamlet saved UWA Skewen from getting behind. Llwyd Dresser hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute Kent Manciple shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cairn Hamlet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ysberin Erwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Odgar Bonds to make the kick off. Cairn Hamlet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rhun Hill, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ysberin Erwin got free with Cairn Hamlet in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rhun Hill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Llwyd Dresser charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Llwyd Dresser the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Llwyd Dresser kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Rhun Hill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swansea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rhun Hill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ysberin Erwin came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cairn Hamlet could save by the left post. In the 73rd minute, Kent Manciple hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Swansea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Odgar Bonds came free, but Tringad Foote reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rhun Hill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
