UWA Denbigh's Digon Edwards got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerallt Lovelady was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Macsen Hicks capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Macsen Hicks really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A collision led to Abergele Utd getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ieuan Floyd hit a great ball. Dewey Coffee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute Macsen Hicks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerallt Lovelady saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Digon Edwards fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reese Hodge having to interfere. Macsen Hicks kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Evan Joyner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Denbigh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abergele Utd the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in UWA Denbigh fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! After some careless play in the UWA Denbigh defense, Madoc Bowman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerallt Lovelady. The UWA Denbigh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerallt Lovelady should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Macsen Hicks to strike the kick off in the second half. UWA Denbigh's Gerallt Lovelady played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dewey Coffee in the 51st minute of play. Gerallt Lovelady took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macsen Hicks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Macsen Hicks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerallt Lovelady having to interfere. Abergele Utd's Reese Hodge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Abergele Utd from getting a goal against them. Gerallt Lovelady showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macsen Hicks in the 56th minute of the match. Macsen Hicks took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerallt Lovelady. Gerallt Lovelady dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Macsen Hicks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arglwydd Karton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Macsen Hicks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerallt Lovelady having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Abergele Utd's goalkeeper Reese Hodge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bradwr Cantwell. In the 96th minute Macsen Hicks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerallt Lovelady saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Abergele Utd had won after a very even match.
