The supporters of UWA Carmarthen booed when Talgarth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eryi Farmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kane Hoague took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Powell Kerswell. Talgarth's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gruddyeu Ing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Powell Kerswell was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. When Urien Frisby fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UWA Carmarthen reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gruddyeu Ing in the 22nd minute of play forced Talgarth's goalkeeper Powell Kerswell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Dyvyr Factor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Powell Kerswell was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Gruddyeu Ing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Dyvyr Factor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Gruddyeu Ing put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Powell Kerswell. Dyvyr Factor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half UWA Carmarthen were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gruddyeu Ing to strike the kick off in the second half. Cadellin Clifton kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Dyvyr Factors short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Powell Kerswell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Gruddyeu Ing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Talgarth's goal looked a bit too open when Gruddyeu Ing came free, but Powell Kerswell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of UWA Carmarthen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Talgarth:s goal. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Talgarth. Gowther Cockane stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anwas Foster. 1-1. Merlin Webster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Anwas Foster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mercher Bates fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anwas Foster having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Puw Camden was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Carmarthen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talgarth the free kick. In the 92nd match minute, UWA Carmarthen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Puw Camden to maneuver through the defense. After 95 minutes UWA Carmarthen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gowther Cockane who took care of the corner kick. Talgarth were furious when Eryi Farmer was red carded, 96 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Talgarth's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
