Spectators: 6801 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1801, VIP seats: 0) UWA Caerleon's Bogart Finkley started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes UWA Caerleon got a freekick which was hit by Gwyglet Joel. Bogart Finkley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ifor Gorman having to interfere. After a rather tough play, UWA Caerleon's Arglwydd Forbes got a free kick in the 8th minute. Cadell Eckles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amaethon Ironside recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gowther Cash fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aberystwyth FC's protests and gave Gowther Cash a yellow card for diving instead. Gowther Cash hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Cadell Eckles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ysgawyn Hoague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, UWA Caerleon's goal looked a bit too open when Cadell Eckles came free, but Ysgawyn Hoague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cadell Eckles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bogart Finkley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lavaine Porter hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cadell Eckles made a kick off. Ifor Gorman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bogart Finkley showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 55 minute of play. In the 59th minute Digon Davies shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysgawyn Hoague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Digon Davies in the 63rd minute of play forced UWA Caerleon's goalkeeper Ysgawyn Hoague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Cadell Eckles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aberystwyth FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cadell Eckles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ysgawyn Hoague breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ysgawyn Hoague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cadell Eckles in the 89th minute of the match. Ysgawyn Hoague came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Aberystwyth FC's Digon Davies. But to his dismay, Digon Davies quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. UWA Caerleon's Bogart Finkley got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
