Spectators: 6791 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1791, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dillan Costermonger started the match with the kick off. Dillan Costermonger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ysgawyn Hoague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Dillan Costermonger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abergele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dillan Costermonger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bogart Finkley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when UWA Caerleon's Amaethon Ironside fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 27th minute Menw Hassett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysgawyn Hoague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arglwydd Forbes hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. UWA Caerleon's Amaethon Ironside got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Abergele were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bogart Finkley made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dillan Costermonger in the 58th minute of play forced UWA Caerleon's goalkeeper Ysgawyn Hoague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Abergele getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Gobrwy Bennett hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the game, Ffowc Cruden was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Caerleon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abergele the free kick. In the 64th minute, Ffowc Cruden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aglovale Little came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by UWA Caerleon's Bogart Finkley. But to his dismay, Bogart Finkley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Abergele's Aglovale Little played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogart Finkley in the 75th minute of play. Aglovale Little stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bogart Finkley's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Ysgawyn Hoague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dillan Costermonger in the 94th minute of play. The Abergele players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented UWA Caerleon from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
