UWA Caerleon's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gwyneira Burt in the 42nd minute. Gwyneira Burt made a great header on UWA Caerleon's corner, it was just that Aberystwyth FC's Ifor Gorman managed to reach the ball for a save. Digon Davies's late challenge caught a UWA Caerleon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Digon Davies helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Digon Davies hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ifor Gorman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amynedd Keller in the 44th minute of the match. When Digon Davies came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Aberystwyth FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Digon Davies couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. Ifor Gorman came out of the goal and Amynedd Keller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to UWA Caerleon getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Griffin Bowden hit a great ball. When Digon Davies came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Aberystwyth FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Digon Davies couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Teryrnon Flood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Drystan Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iddawg Garrity fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ifor Gorman having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Cerdic Farrelly mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Caerleon and the Aberystwyth FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to UWA Caerleon getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Cerdic Farrelly hit a great ball. Powell Cox showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Digon Davies in the 78th minute of the match. Iddawg Garrity hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cadell Eckles in the 81st minute of play forced UWA Caerleon's goalkeeper Powell Cox to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Digon Davies made a precise shot to the right of Powell Cox. UWA Caerleon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 92nd minute, Cadell Eckles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aberystwyth FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 95 played minutes Aberystwyth FC got a freekick which was hit by Cadoc Coonan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amynedd Keller in the 98th minute of play forced Aberystwyth FC's goalkeeper Ifor Gorman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
