The audience was convinced that Aedd Kit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arawn Lea was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, Lludd Brinkman notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of UWA Llangollen's Drwst Dexter. Drwst Dexter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 23 minutes, Perceval Jennings managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Llangollen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perceval Jennings was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 24 played minutes Bridgend FC got a freekick which was hit by Padrig Forbes. Ithel High struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Drwst Dexter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bridgend FC. Drwst Dexter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ithel High in the 32nd minute of the match. Lludd Brinkman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Drwst Dexter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Perceval Jennings received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Arawn Lea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bridgend FC's Arawn Lea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aedd Kit in the 48th minute of play.

The wind increased when Aedd Kit made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Aedd Kit managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Llangollen's supporters rose to their feet, but Aedd Kit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arawn Lea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Bridgend FC's Padrig Forbes got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes, UWA Llangollen's Gwern Cash shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arawn Lea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UWA Llangollen reached it. In the 62nd minute, Gowther Flower hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68thth minute of the game Perceval Jennings who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bridgend FC's Arawn Lea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aedd Kit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Arawn Lea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, UWA Llangollen's goal looked a bit too open when Lludd Brinkman came free, but Drwst Dexter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gowther Flower kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Ithel High ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Drwst Dexter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Perceval Jennings struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Arawn Lea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Llangollen. Ithel High fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drwst Dexter having to interfere. Aedd Kit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bridgend FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
