Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sayer Loane got the match started through his kick off. Eryi Farmer kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Talgarth's Powell Kerswell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Talgarth from getting a goal against them. Maelwys Burgonmaster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mercher Bates, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Powell Kerswell was a little too slow when Sayer Loane got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Maelwys Burgonmaster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merlin Webster in the 27th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Merlin Webster who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UWA Newtown's Maelwys Burgonmaster was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sayer Loane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Powell Kerswell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Merlin Webster to strike the kick off in the second half. Powell Kerswell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tringad Durling in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Tringad Durling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Newtown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tringad Durling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute, Iddawg Gamble hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maelwys Burgonmaster didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. Tringad Durling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Powell Kerswell having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, one of UWA Newtown:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Maelwys Burgonmaster, was totally fooled by Talgarth's Gowther Cockane, who 82 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Powell Kerswell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sayer Loane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of UWA Newtown booed when Talgarth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aeddan Jennifer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talgarth's goalkeeper Powell Kerswell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mercher Bates fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maelwys Burgonmaster having to interfere. After 91 played minutes UWA Newtown got a freekick which was hit by Iddawg Gamble. UWA Newtown's Maelwys Burgonmaster proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save UWA Newtown from getting a goal against them. Maelwys Burgonmaster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merlin Webster in the 98th minute of the match. Talgarth's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
