A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Aberystwyth's Gusg Creagh nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arawn Lea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lludd Brinkman in the 43rd minute of play forced Aberystwyth's goalkeeper Iddawg Glidden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Aberystwyth getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Gusg Creagh hit a great ball. Aberystwyth's Iddawg Glidden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Aberystwyth from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sayer Hooker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bridgend FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celyn Bethel was slow to take the kick. During this time Aberystwyth's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Celyn Bethel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bridgend FC's Arawn Lea did a great save. When Gusg Creagh was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. Gusg Creagh kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Bridgend FC's Ffowc Donnelly couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Aberystwyth. Lludd Brinkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ithel High fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iddawg Glidden having to interfere. Iddawg Glidden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ithel High in the 65th minute of the match. When Nynnyaw Eddington came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Aberystwyth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nynnyaw Eddington couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Culhwch Arthur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bridgend FC's Arawn Lea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Bridgend FC from getting a goal against them. Berwyn Gant was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 71 played minutes Aberystwyth got a freekick which was hit by Berwyn Gant. After 72 minutes, Ithel High made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Aberystwyth's Iddawg Glidden tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aberystwyth's goalkeeper Iddawg Glidden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Aberystwyth's zone, Ithel High stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iddawg Glidden came out of the goal and Ithel High tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iddawg Glidden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ithel High, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ithel High's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iddawg Glidden was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Iddawg Glidden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ithel High in the 87th minute of play. Lludd Brinkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iddawg Glidden having to interfere. Ithel High might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iddawg Glidden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ithel High ran back to his position shaking his head. Lludd Brinkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
