Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aedd Kit to make the kick off. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Aedd Kit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Powell Cox having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Caerleon's zone, Perceval Jennings stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Powell Cox came out of the goal and Perceval Jennings tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the game, Cerdic Farrelly was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Caerleon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Llangollen the free kick. In the 63rd match minute, UWA Caerleon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cerdic Farrelly to maneuver through the defense. Gwern Cash charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee ignored UWA Llangollen's protests and gave Nynnyaw Bourns a yellow card for diving instead. Perceval Jennings sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, UWA Caerleon's Iddawg Garrity got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, UWA Llangollen's Aedd Kit sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Powell Cox narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
