Beli Goldthorpe charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beli Goldthorpe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26thth minute of the game Beli Goldthorpe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barry FC's Hywel Gately was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anwell Herne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Selyf Crocker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Anir Campbell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hywel Gately. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Beli Goldthorpe made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Anwell Herne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barry FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anwell Herne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selyf Crocker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Selyf Crocker successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beli Goldthorpe in the 56th minute of play forced Barry FC's goalkeeper Hywel Gately to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Porthcawl FC's Anir Campbell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hywel Gately narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barry FC's Pawl Keele got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
