In the 5thth minute of the game Kynlas Caulker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aberystwyth's Inek Bradner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kynlas Caulker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inek Bradner having to make a save. 8 minutes into the game, UWA Abergele's Griflet Griffith nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inek Bradner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Iona Holcombe kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Amlawdd Hyslop charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amlawdd Hyslop the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes UWA Abergele got a freekick which was hit by Amlawdd Hyslop. After having played for 20 minutes, Nissyen Findley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aberystwyth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nissyen Findley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aneirin Kidder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Perceval Cartledge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Geraint Fickett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Perceval Cartledge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nissyen Findley in the 35th minute. UWA Abergele's Griflet Griffith got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kynlas Caulker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inek Bradner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, UWA Abergele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amlawdd Hyslop to maneuver through the defense. UWA Abergele's Perceval Cartledge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save UWA Abergele from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aneirin Kidder to make the kick off. Inek Bradner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kynlas Caulker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the game, Aberystwyth's Aneirin Kidder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Perceval Cartledge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of Aberystwyth booed when UWA Abergele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmyg Copeland didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Amlawdd Hyslop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes in the game, Kynlas Caulker fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Inek Bradner having to interfere. Perceval Cartledge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aneirin Kidder in the 78th minute of play. Aneirin Kidder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Perceval Cartledge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Aberystwyth booed when UWA Abergele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Syvwlch Bagwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 minutes of play, Aberystwyth's Nissyen Findley made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Perceval Cartledge was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aberystwyth had played much better football throughout.
