Nissyen Findley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aneirin Kidder in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Howell Folds saved Penarth from getting behind. After 18 played minutes Penarth got a freekick which was hit by Gwyr Eccleston. When Aberystwyth's Aneirin Kidder in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Penarth's goalie prevented a goal. Aberystwyth's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bwlch Inger 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Aneirin Kidder took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Howell Folds. Howell Folds dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Nissyen Findley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Howell Folds tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aneirin Kidder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Urien Barnett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inek Bradner. Aberystwyth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urien Barnett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Aneirin Kidder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Howell Folds tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 58th match minute, Aberystwyth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teregud Fairchild to maneuver through the defense. Urien Barnett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inek Bradner having to make a save. If Seren Lake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Inek Kirk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute of the match Teregud Fairchild sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Howell Folds skillfully saved the ball. If Urien Barnett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, Aberystwyth's Nissyen Findley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Howell Folds made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Teregud Fairchild charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teregud Fairchild the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes, Penarth's Lionel Everson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Inek Bradner came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Penarth reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nissyen Findley got free with Howell Folds in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eudav Hansford during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aberystwyth! The referee gave Penarth a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lionel Everson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aberystwyth's Inek Bradner. 3-2. Celyn Eccles kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Nissyen Findley scored 3-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Howell Folds, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 97th minute Bwlch Inger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inek Bradner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Penarth's zone, Aneirin Kidder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Howell Folds came out of the goal and Aneirin Kidder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
