Spectators: 6776 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 0) Bridgend's Amaethon Gehan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Howell Folds showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sulyen Latham in the 5th minute of the match. If Urien Barnett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urien Barnett's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Alawn Lattimore skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 18 minutes, Sulyen Latham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bridgend's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sulyen Latham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sulyen Latham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Howell Folds showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amaethon Gehan in the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Penarth getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Gwyr Eccleston hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Aberthol Langley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute of the match Gobrwy Hillard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Howell Folds showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Bridgend's Broderick Cotterell got a free kick in the 31st minute. Penarth's Urien Barnett got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Bridgend's goal looked a bit too open when Bwlch Inger came free, but Alawn Lattimore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Howell Folds made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amaethon Gehan in the 36th minute of play. Sulyen Latham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Howell Folds having to interfere. Sulyen Latham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bwlch Inger was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Penarth's Howell Folds got control of the ball when Sulyen Latham tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amaethon Gehan took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Howell Folds. Howell Folds dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 65 played minutes Penarth got a freekick which was hit by Aberthol Langley. Penarth's Urien Barnett got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amaethon Gehan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Howell Folds read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Bwlch Inger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Alawn Lattimore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Bridgend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celyn Chase to maneuver through the defense. After 81 minutes, Urien Barnett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penarth and the Bridgend players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Penarth got a freekick which was hit by Urien Barnett. Sulyen Latham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sulyen Latham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Howell Folds having to interfere. Bwlch Inger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alawn Lattimore having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Bridgend got a freekick which was hit by Gobrwy Hillard. If Bwlch Inger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
