Kynlas Caulker started the match with the kick off. Bwlch Inger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Perceval Cartledge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urien Barnett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Perceval Cartledge made a huge save. In the 10th minute, Griflet Griffith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 played minutes Penarth got a freekick which was hit by Bwlch Inger. Howell Folds made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kynlas Caulker in the 22nd minute of play. Howell Folds showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Griflet Griffith in the 23rd minute of the match. Bwlch Inger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Perceval Cartledge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urien Barnett struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Perceval Cartledge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penarth. 30 minutes into the match, UWA Abergele's goalkeeper Perceval Cartledge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urien Barnett. A hard shot 32 in the game by Urien Barnett from a close distance when the talented Perceval Cartledge managed to make a qualified save. UWA Abergele's players were relieved. In the 36th minute, Griflet Griffith got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Celyn Eccles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urien Barnett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perceval Cartledge having to interfere. The supporters of Penarth booed when UWA Abergele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Govannon Holcombe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bwlch Inger was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Bwlch Inger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Penarth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bwlch Inger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Perceval Cartledge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urien Barnett in the 59th minute of the match. Inek Kirk's late challenge caught a UWA Abergele's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inek Kirk helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Pellyn Ely managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Abergele's supporters rose to their feet, but Pellyn Ely was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Howell Folds breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. UWA Abergele's Griflet Griffith got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Griflet Griffith cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Howell Folds was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 76 minutes, Amlawdd Hyslop mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Abergele and the Penarth players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amlawdd Hyslop kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Bwlch Inger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to UWA Abergele getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Amlawdd Hyslop hit a great ball. If Celyn Eccles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Bwlch Inger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Perceval Cartledge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bwlch Inger in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perceval Cartledge saved UWA Abergele from getting behind. Syvwlch Bagwell's late challenge caught a Penarth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Syvwlch Bagwell helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to UWA Abergele getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Syvwlch Bagwell hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Penarth's Lionel Everson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
