Cadarn Gillock's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Tristan Hyslop skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 16th minute Myrddin Lovat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Llwyr Alvey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sel Gay came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the UWA Penarth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sel Gay couldn't finish the play. Tristan Hyslop made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cadarn Gillock in the 20th minute. Llwyr Alvey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sel Gay in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Sel Gay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Llangollen's zone, Myrddin Lovat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Llwyr Alvey came out of the goal and Myrddin Lovat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd match minute, UWA Llangollen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albanwr Hughes to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, UWA Penarth's Sel Gay got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albanwr Hughes during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Albanwr Hughes hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. UWA Penarth's Myrddin Lovat got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute Myrddin Lovat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Llwyr Alvey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Drystan Burdick to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Drystan Burdick notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of UWA Penarth's Tristan Hyslop. Tristan Hyslop was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Sel Gay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Myrddin Lovat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwyr Alvey having to interfere. Albanwr Hughes hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Sel Gay fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Llwyr Alvey, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 75 minutes, Drystan Burdick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Llangollen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Drystan Burdick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of UWA Llangollen booed when UWA Penarth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urien Farr didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Drystan Burdick came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the UWA Llangollen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Drystan Burdick couldn't finish the play. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to UWA Penarth getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Rhodri Gilliland hit a great ball. UWA Llangollen's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
