In the 14th minute, Amaethon Carman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes Red Boys got a freekick which was hit by Bors Freelove. 30 minutes into the match, Red Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Berwyn Gilbert came free, but Siawn Guthrie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Red Boys's Collen Bingley got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Red Boys's Siawn Guthrie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berwyn Gilbert in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Knighton FC's zone, Collen Bingley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fercos Finnegan came out of the goal and Collen Bingley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 61 in the game by Baudwin Avery from a close distance when the talented Siawn Guthrie managed to make a qualified save. Red Boys's players were relieved. If Berwyn Gilbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rhisiart Cottle couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Baudwin Avery got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Siawn Guthrie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berwyn Gilbert in the 98th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
