Tristan Hyslop made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Selyf Dulleran sent off a good shot on target. Selyf Dulleran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Tristan Hyslop made a huge save. Denbigh's Garym Cleghorn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sel Gay in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, UWA Penarth's Tristan Hyslop got control of the ball when Selyf Dulleran tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th match minute, UWA Penarth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urien Farr to maneuver through the defense. Tristan Hyslop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lovel Hodge in the 13th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Selyf Dulleran put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tristan Hyslop. Tristan Hyslop didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 22nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, UWA Penarth's goal looked a bit too open when Lovel Hodge came free, but Tristan Hyslop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Selyf Dulleran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tristan Hyslop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Selyf Dulleran got free with Tristan Hyslop in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Garym Cleghorn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sel Gay, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. When Selyf Dulleran came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Denbigh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selyf Dulleran couldn't finish the play. UWA Penarth's Tristan Hyslop proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save UWA Penarth from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sel Gay to strike the kick off in the second half. Tristan Hyslop stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Selyf Dulleran's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, UWA Penarth's Rhodri Gilliland got a free kick in the 55th minute. Selyf Dulleran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tristan Hyslop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Selyf Dulleran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Denbigh's Garym Cleghorn got control of the ball when Myrddin Lovat tried to sneak it across the goal line. UWA Penarth's Myrddin Lovat got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Denbigh getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Steffan Coppinger hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, UWA Penarth's Sel Gay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Garym Cleghorn. Garym Cleghorn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 77 minutes into the match, Denbigh's Selyf Dulleran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tristan Hyslop narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sel Gay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, UWA Penarth's goal looked a bit too open when Lovel Hodge came free, but Tristan Hyslop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urien Farr's late challenge caught a Denbigh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urien Farr helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes UWA Penarth got a freekick which was hit by Urien Farr. Lovel Hodge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 played minutes Denbigh got a freekick which was hit by Maddock Flynn. The long shot by Rhodri Gilliland in the 94th minute really tested Garym Cleghorn's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Myrddin Lovat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Garym Cleghorn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
