In the 16th play minute Baudwin Avery came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Odgar Duncan. 1-0. Baudwin Avery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odgar Duncan having to interfere. Fercos Finnegan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pawl Bedford went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Odgar Duncan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berwyn Gilbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Odgar Duncan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berwyn Gilbert in the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Newport FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Penvro Cox hit a great ball. The Knighton FC fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Knighton FC's Baudwin Avery looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Anwar Illingworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baudwin Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Berwyn Gilbert to make the kick off. Fercos Finnegan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawl Bedford in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawl Bedford in the 57th minute of play forced Knighton FC's goalkeeper Fercos Finnegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Odgar Duncan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baudwin Avery in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Knighton FC's Drwst Hellier got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Pawl Bedford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Knighton FC's Fercos Finnegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawl Bedford in the 91st minute of play. If Pawl Bedford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baudwin Avery took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Odgar Duncan. Odgar Duncan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Knighton FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
