Collen Bingley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arawn Hibberd having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Collen Bingley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Arawn Hibberd was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Amaethon Carman fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Boys's protests and gave Amaethon Carman a yellow card for diving instead. Amaethon Carman hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Arawn Hibberd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Llwydeu Driscoll in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Red Boys's zone, Caerwyn Dean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siawn Guthrie came out of the goal and Caerwyn Dean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th match minute, Red Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bors Freelove to maneuver through the defense. When Red Boys's Collen Bingley, in the 24th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Red Boys. Caerwyn Dean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Siawn Guthrie made a huge save. Collen Bingley might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arawn Hibberd. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Collen Bingley ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Collen Bingley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arawn Hibberd was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Caledvwich Burrows managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talgarth's supporters rose to their feet, but Caledvwich Burrows was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siawn Guthrie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Siawn Guthrie made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Caerwyn Dean sent off a good shot on target. Arawn Hibberd didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Llwydeu Driscoll went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The Talgarth players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Red Boys were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caledvwich Burrows stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, one of Talgarth:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Caledvwich Burrows received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Siawn Guthrie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Siawn Guthrie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caerwyn Dean in the 59th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Eudav Gilroy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talgarth the free kick. The supporters of Talgarth booed when Red Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eudav Gilroy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Red Boys's Siawn Guthrie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caledvwich Burrows in the 78th minute of play. Caledvwich Burrows sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Talgarth getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Bedyw Keyes hit a great ball. When Caerwyn Dean came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Talgarth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caerwyn Dean couldn't finish the play. Caledvwich Burrows struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Siawn Guthrie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talgarth. Caerwyn Dean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Red Boys walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
