Spectators: 6778 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Casnar Ingersoll started the match with the kick off. Neath's Siencyn Christian got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the game, Ffodor Large cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Caradawg Gilboy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Gromer Gold fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neath's protests and gave Gromer Gold a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute Casnar Ingersoll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baudwin Dell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caradawg Gilboy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Siencyn Christian's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Siencyn Christian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caradawg Gilboy having to interfere. When Neath's Siencyn Christian in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UWA Bridgend's goalie prevented a goal. Hydd Blackadder might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caradawg Gilboy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hydd Blackadder ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st minute, one of UWA Bridgend:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UWA Bridgend. Baudwin Foley kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Govannon Chain in the 46th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Caradawg Gilboy's left hand side.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siencyn Christian during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Neath's Siencyn Christian got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52ndth minute of the game Maelwys Greener who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Neath's Baudwin Dell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hydd Blackadder got free with Caradawg Gilboy in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes in the game, Hydd Blackadder fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Caradawg Gilboy having to interfere. Davis Gore charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davis Gore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to UWA Bridgend getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Davis Gore hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hydd Blackadder got free with Caradawg Gilboy in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, Neath's goal looked a bit too open when Maelwys Greener came free, but Baudwin Dell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind UWA Bridgend's goalkeeper Caradawg Gilboy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gromer Gold kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Maelwys Greener recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Siencyn Christian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Siencyn Christian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caradawg Gilboy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The UWA Bridgend fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Neath were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
