Digon Pattern's late challenge caught a Neath's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Digon Pattern helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cardiff getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Digon Pattern hit a great ball. Heulyn Chadwick was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Siencyn Christian. After a rather tough play, Neath's Hydd Blackadder got a free kick in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Collen Huddleston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cardiff's supporters rose to their feet, but Collen Huddleston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baudwin Dell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Neath's goal looked a bit too open when Kynan Freelove came free, but Baudwin Dell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peredur Workman kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 37 played minutes Cardiff got a freekick which was hit by Calder Argyle. Hydd Blackadder's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Heulyn Chadwick skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Neath players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cardiff were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kynan Freelove made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Naw Fletcher during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Ffodor Large hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Kynan Freelove got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Greidyawl Creedan fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cardiff's protests and gave Greidyawl Creedan a yellow card for diving instead. Greidyawl Creedan kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Hydd Blackadder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Neath booed when Cardiff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Digon Pattern didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ffodor Large fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heulyn Chadwick having to interfere. Cardiff's Heulyn Chadwick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hydd Blackadder in the 73rd minute of play. If Naw Fletcher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cardiff walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
