Spectators: 6778 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Howell Flannelly kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Owein Kane in the 3rd minute of play forced Swansea FC's goalkeeper Berth Campbell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cadfael Hoole kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Berth Campbell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gwawl Graham in the 5th minute. Bradwen Burchett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Howell Flannelly in the 7th minute of the match. Kenn Godwin might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bradwen Burchett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kenn Godwin ran back to his position shaking his head. 12 minutes into the match, Flint's goal looked a bit too open when Howell Flannelly came free, but Bradwen Burchett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Owein Kane came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Flint fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Owein Kane couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Swansea FC's goalkeeper Berth Campbell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Flint's zone, Howell Flannelly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bradwen Burchett came out of the goal and Howell Flannelly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Gwawl Graham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Morvran Wheelwright charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Morvran Wheelwright the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Flint got a freekick which was hit by Morvran Wheelwright. Flint's Bradwen Burchett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Howell Flannelly in the 39th minute of play. After 45 played minutes, Swansea FC's Alawn Henry shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bradwen Burchett came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Swansea FC reached it. After having played for 48 minutes, Owein Kane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flint's supporters crossed their fingers, but Owein Kane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Owein Kane to strike the kick off in the second half. If Kenn Godwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. Alawn Henry kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gwawl Graham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Berth Campbell was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Howell Flannelly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Bradwen Burchett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Morvran Wheelwright recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Owein Kane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenn Godwin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Bradwen Burchett made a huge save. Howell Flannelly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradwen Burchett having to interfere. Kenn Godwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
