Maesteg's supporters rose to their feet, but Iolo Bailey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maelgwn Collingsworth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Griflet Gardner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Rhuvawn Lederer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pwyll Bishop hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Maesteg's Galahad Farran couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 40th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for UWA Prestatyn. UWA Prestatyn's Maelgwn Collingsworth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mil Gwinn in the 42nd minute of play. Mil Gwinn struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Maelgwn Collingsworth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maesteg. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iolo Bailey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Pwyll Bishop mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Prestatyn and the Maesteg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pwyll Bishop hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Iolo Bailey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gwydion Keefe was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Maesteg's Llyn Joel got a free kick in the 66th minute. When UWA Prestatyn's Griflet Gardner in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 78 minutes of play, Maesteg's Iolo Bailey made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maelgwn Collingsworth was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maesteg's Rhuvawn Lederer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Griflet Gardner in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Iolo Bailey fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 90th minute, Iolo Bailey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to UWA Prestatyn getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Lludd Lockrey hit a great ball.
