After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Maelwys Greener managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Bridgend's supporters rose to their feet, but Maelwys Greener was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kai Burchett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Maelwys Greener came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the UWA Bridgend fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maelwys Greener couldn't finish the play. After 17 played minutes Penarth got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Bowes. When Gwalhaved Gately came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Penarth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwalhaved Gately couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute of the match Baudwin Foley sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kai Burchett skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Penarth's Kai Burchett got control of the ball when Maelwys Greener tried to sneak it across the goal line. When UWA Bridgend's Maelwys Greener in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
