Rhuvawn Lederer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Owein Kane in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Maesteg's goal looked a bit too open when Owein Kane came free, but Rhuvawn Lederer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwawl Graham in the 18th minute of play forced Maesteg's goalkeeper Rhuvawn Lederer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bradwen Burchett made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Mil Gwinn sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Flint's zone, Iolo Bailey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bradwen Burchett came out of the goal and Iolo Bailey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alwyn Puddler's late challenge caught a Maesteg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alwyn Puddler helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Flint getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Alwyn Puddler hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Maesteg's goal looked a bit too open when Gwawl Graham came free, but Rhuvawn Lederer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Llyn Joel hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Mil Gwinn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwawl Graham in the 38th minute of play forced Maesteg's goalkeeper Rhuvawn Lederer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Flint getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Siam Julien hit a great ball. In the 58th minute Mil Gwinn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradwen Burchett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Iolo Bailey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, Flint was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robat Folds to maneuver through the defense. Maesteg's attack was well implemented in the 62nd minute, but when Iolo Bailey was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iolo Bailey in the 70th minute of play forced Flint's goalkeeper Bradwen Burchett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Maesteg's Mil Gwinn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bradwen Burchett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Gwawl Graham came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Flint fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwawl Graham couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute Mil Gwinn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradwen Burchett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rhuvawn Lederer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Owein Kane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gwawl Graham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhuvawn Lederer having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Gwawl Graham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flint's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwawl Graham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maesteg's Rhuvawn Lederer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Owein Kane in the 91st minute of play. Gwawl Graham in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rhuvawn Lederer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Flint players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Maesteg.
