The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gwythyr Covell was the one to do the kick off. Griffin Fitzroy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Padrig Grantham in the 52nd minute of the match. Griffin Fitzroy came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Puddlemere United's Padrig Grantham. But to his dismay, Padrig Grantham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 76th minute Padrig Grantham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Griffin Fitzroy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Awstin Dowdall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Awstin Dowdall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Griffin Fitzroy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 minutes of play, Puddlemere United's Padrig Grantham made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Griffin Fitzroy was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Padrig Grantham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Selyv Hayhurst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Galahad Hanley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Puddlemere United fully deserved thier win.
