Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Siencyn Christian took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th match minute, Maesteg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hywel Boggs to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Maesteg's Rhuvawn Lederer got control of the ball when Hydd Blackadder tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute Iolo Bailey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baudwin Dell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ffodor Large hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Mil Gwinn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 played minutes, Maesteg's Griffith Cox shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baudwin Dell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maesteg reached it. Siencyn Christian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rhuvawn Lederer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mil Gwinn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baudwin Dell having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Neath got a freekick which was hit by Govannon Chain. Neath's Baudwin Dell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iolo Bailey in the 35th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iolo Bailey made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Siencyn Christian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maesteg's Rhuvawn Lederer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Hydd Blackadder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rhuvawn Lederer. Maesteg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hydd Blackadder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Rhuvawn Lederer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siencyn Christian in the 66th minute of play. Baudwin Dell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mil Gwinn in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Neath getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ffodor Large hit a great ball. Mil Gwinn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. When Ffodor Large fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neath's protests and gave Ffodor Large a yellow card for diving instead. Ffodor Large kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Maesteg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Galahad Farran in the 80th minute. Galahad Farran made a great header on Maesteg's corner, it was just that Neath's Baudwin Dell managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 83 minutes, Mil Gwinn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maesteg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mil Gwinn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Neath's Ffodor Large got a free kick in the 88th minute. Rhuvawn Lederer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siencyn Christian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94thth minute of the game Siencyn Christian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maesteg's Rhuvawn Lederer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rhuvawn Lederer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Siencyn Christian's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Neath were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Maesteg for a fine match.
