Berth Campbell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bridgend. In the 11th minute Ren Fox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berth Campbell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ren Fox's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Berth Campbell was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Berth Campbell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ren Fox in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ren Fox to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Swansea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Griffith Jones came free, but Berth Campbell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Griffith Jones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Howell Flannelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heulyn Abdelmaseh hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Swansea FC's zone, Griffith Jones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berth Campbell came out of the goal and Griffith Jones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Swansea FC defense, Griffith Jones kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berth Campbell. The Swansea FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berth Campbell should have stopped the shot. Kenn Godwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heulyn Abdelmaseh hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Drych Doran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kenn Godwin in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute Ren Fox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berth Campbell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81stth minute of the game Ren Fox who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Swansea FC's Berth Campbell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Drych Doran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Howell Flannelly, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Swansea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Griffith Jones came free, but Berth Campbell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bridgend were furious when Garwyli Hoskins was red carded, 96 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 95th minute, one of Bridgend:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bridgend. Swansea FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
