Spectators: 6769 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lovel Cock kicked off to start the match. Bwlch Keelan stood somewhat misplaced when Cadyryeith Holster came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 6 minute. In the 9th minute, Neb Driscoll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lovel Cock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarrant Hodson having to interfere. If Llyr Currier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Caerwyn Collis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newport Carpenters FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Caerwyn Collis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarrant Hodson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Powell Roper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarrant Hodson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lovel Cock in the 20th minute of the match. Cadyryeith Holster in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bwlch Keelan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 30th minute Llyr Currier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bwlch Keelan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cadyryeith Holster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caerwyn Collis struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Tarrant Hodson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newport Carpenters FC. When Llyr Currier came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the UWA Llangollen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Llyr Currier couldn't finish the play. Llyr Currier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bwlch Keelan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Llyr Currier to strike the kick off in the second half. Tarrant Hodson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lovel Cock, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Llyr Currier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. UWA Llangollen's Tarrant Hodson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save UWA Llangollen from getting a goal against them. Bwlch Keelan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renfrew Keefe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tarrant Hodson made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Caerwyn Collis sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cadyryeith Holster in the 70th minute of play forced Newport Carpenters FC's goalkeeper Bwlch Keelan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarrant Hodson came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Newport Carpenters FC's Caerwyn Collis. But to his dismay, Caerwyn Collis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 79 minutes into the game, Garnock Black was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Llangollen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newport Carpenters FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in UWA Llangollen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Newport Carpenters FC. Pawl Epperson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tarrant Hodson. 1-2. Newport Carpenters FC's Bwlch Keelan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cadyryeith Holster in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Cadyryeith Holster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th match minute, Newport Carpenters FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Powell Roper to maneuver through the defense. Cadyryeith Holster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bwlch Keelan having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Newport Carpenters FC got a freekick which was hit by Iolo Hernon. The audience was convinced that Cadyryeith Holster's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bwlch Keelan was relentless in the 99th minute of the game. Newport Carpenters FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over UWA Llangollen's much stronger midfield.
