Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) Olwydd Hodgson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 played minutes Abergele Utd got a freekick which was hit by Drew Boniface. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olwydd Hodgson in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clud Wainwright prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Olwydd Hodgson came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Llandysul Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olwydd Hodgson couldn't finish the play. Culhwch Victualer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogart Clark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abergele Utd's Bogart Clark got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bogart Clark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Culhwch Victualer having to interfere. Bogart Clark scored 0-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Culhwch Victualer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Eudav Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olwydd Hodgson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Clud Wainwright tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Abergele Utd were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gorsedd Folk to make the kick off. Gorsedd Folk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Culhwch Victualer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 52nd minute, Kenyon Bishop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clud Wainwright took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eudav Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bogart Clark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eudav Joseph recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bogart Clark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olwydd Hodgson in the 76th minute of play forced Abergele Utd's goalkeeper Clud Wainwright to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olwydd Hodgson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clud Wainwright read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Clud Wainwright showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olwydd Hodgson in the 86th minute of the match. If Olwydd Hodgson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abergele Utd's Clud Wainwright played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olwydd Hodgson in the 96th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
