The audience was convinced that Gwyglet Brody's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amaethon Boren was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Cadeyrn Bradner scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amaethon Boren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 60 minutes, Ofydd Halifax mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Baglan and the UWA Flint players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes UWA Baglan got a freekick which was hit by Ofydd Halifax. If Gwyglet Brody had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Gwyglet Brody got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 69 minutes, Siarl Lederer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Baglan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siarl Lederer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Griflet Greer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cadeyrn Bradner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amaethon Boren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Siarl Lederer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UWA Flint were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
