UWA Llangollen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Huw Bligh scored to the left of an out of position Tarrant Hodson, making the score, 2-3. Lavaine Bergin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarrant Hodson having to interfere. The supporters of Porthcawl FC booed when UWA Llangollen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pwyll Godbear didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, UWA Llangollen's goal looked a bit too open when Ceithin Knox came free, but Tarrant Hodson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Porthcawl FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Porthcawl FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
