In the 5th minute Pelles Carson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwalchmei Burdick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gwalchmei Burdick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selyf Fitzgerald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gwalchmei Burdick came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by UWA Prestatyn's Selyf Fitzgerald. But to his dismay, Selyf Fitzgerald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Selyf Fitzgerald kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. UWA Prestatyn's Selyf Fitzgerald got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Selyf Fitzgerald spun around in front of the goal 23 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of UWA Baglan's goal. After 26 minutes, Wren Fielding made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. UWA Prestatyn's Gamon Cottle tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bellieus Coe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, UWA Prestatyn's Bellieus Coe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gwalchmei Burdick narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Selyf Fitzgerald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gwalchmei Burdick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of UWA Baglan booed when UWA Prestatyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timotheus Budge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gorlois Hetherington got in the 44th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Gamon Cottle and thus it was 2-1. Selyf Fitzgerald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gwalchmei Burdick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vaughn Gilliland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gwalchmei Burdick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selyf Fitzgerald in the 52nd minute of play. UWA Prestatyn's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Druce Berwick in the 53rd minute. The corner led UWA Prestatyn's Druce Berwick to fire away a dangerous shot which Gwalchmei Burdick despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Selyf Fitzgerald came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gwalchmei Burdick could save by the left post. If Timotheus Budge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Pasgen Farran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After taking down the ball on UWA Prestatyn's corner Druce Berwick fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gwalchmei Burdick quite easily take care of the ball. 68 minutes into the match, UWA Baglan's goalkeeper Gwalchmei Burdick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Selyf Fitzgerald. Selyf Fitzgerald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Gwalchmei Burdick managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when UWA Prestatyn's Selyf Fitzgerald fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 77 minutes into the match, UWA Prestatyn's goal looked a bit too open when Vaughn Gilliland came free, but Gamon Cottle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cant Love kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes UWA Baglan got a freekick which was hit by Cairn Lamerton. In the 88th minute of the match, Bellieus Coe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gwalchmei Burdick saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, UWA Baglan's Gerallt Hawley got a free kick in the 88th minute. A collision led to UWA Baglan getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Pasgen Farran hit a great ball.
