Spectators: 6764 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Brys Lodder got the match started through his kick off. Tarrant Haran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berth Keene having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Newtown got a freekick which was hit by Barris Gillam. Tarrant Haran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Berth Keene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clud Hodge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Bors Flesher made a huge save. Newtown's Brys Lodder got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Clud Hodge came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Newtown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clud Hodge couldn't finish the play. Tarrant Haran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Myrddin Lindsey charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Myrddin Lindsey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Newtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Myrddin Lindsey to maneuver through the defense. Tarrant Haran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Berth Keene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Myrddin Frost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berth Keene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarrant Haran in the 42nd minute of the match. Myrddin Frost recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Myrddin Frost to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of UWA Flint booed when Newtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Padrig Felt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 minutes of play, UWA Flint's Tarrant Haran made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berth Keene was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tarrant Haran came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Berth Keene could save by the left post. Tarrant Haran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berth Keene having to interfere. Tarrant Haran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Berth Keene having to make a save. Myrddin Frost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th match minute, Newtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Myrddin Lindsey to maneuver through the defense. Penn Bullock, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Blathaon Futter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Flint's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newtown the free kick. In the 94th match minute, UWA Flint was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blathaon Futter to maneuver through the defense. Clud Hodge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bors Flesher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UWA Flint played a much better game than Newtown and deserved their victory. The Newtown players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
