An unexpectedly hard shot by Cadwgawn Graham in the 8th minute of play forced Newtown's goalkeeper Berth Keene to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Llanberis FC's goalkeeper Gwyglet Barnes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ol Farthing. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brys Lodder in the 11th minute of play forced Llanberis FC's goalkeeper Gwyglet Barnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwyglet Barnes made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Ol Farthing sent off a good shot on target. Llanberis FC's Gwyglet Barnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brys Lodder in the 15th minute of play. Cadwgawn Graham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cadwgawn Graham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Berth Keene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rhett Lister in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berth Keene saved Newtown from getting behind. If Ol Farthing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Brys Lodder came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Newtown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brys Lodder couldn't finish the play. Berth Keene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rhett Lister in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Brys Lodder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ol Farthing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

52 minutes into the match, Newtown's goal looked a bit too open when Rhett Lister came free, but Berth Keene reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Newtown! Berth Keene went to the wrong direction when Iona Armitage was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Llanberis FC's zone, Brys Lodder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gwyglet Barnes came out of the goal and Brys Lodder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Cadwgawn Graham took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Berth Keene to make any attempt to save it. Gruffen Bluestocking received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Berth Keene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ol Farthing managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newtown's supporters rose to their feet, but Ol Farthing was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gwyglet Barnes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brys Lodder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Brys Lodder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ol Farthing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cadwgawn Graham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berth Keene having to interfere.
