In the 12th minute Selyf Ing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brad Burgonmaster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Selyf Ing's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brad Burgonmaster read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Brad Burgonmaster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selyf Ing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Selyf Ing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Pembroke Kimball managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rhonnda's supporters rose to their feet, but Pembroke Kimball was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brad Burgonmaster breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Bridgend's Pyrs Hetherington got a free kick in the 27th minute. Inek Halliday showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aedd Gladwin in the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Rhonnda getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Kane Golding hit a great ball. Rhonnda's Inek Halliday proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Rhonnda from getting a goal against them. Cadoc Lennon hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cerdic Culpepper during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pembroke Kimball sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aedd Gladwin made a kick off. If Pembroke Wainwright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kane Golding kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Pyrs Hetherington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Selyf Ing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pellyn Flaherty came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Bridgend fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pellyn Flaherty couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pellyn Flaherty in the 68th minute of play forced Rhonnda's goalkeeper Inek Halliday to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Aedd Gladwin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bridgend's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aedd Gladwin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Bridgend getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Pembroke Wainwright hit a great ball. If Pembroke Kimball had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 78 minutes into the match, Rhonnda's goal looked a bit too open when Aedd Gladwin came free, but Inek Halliday reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selyf Ing in the 97th minute of play forced Bridgend's goalkeeper Brad Burgonmaster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
